Hi. For my project I wanted to do some research with plants, but my science teacher thought plants were too common, so now I think I might want to do something with food. The problem is, I want something that I can experiment with over a few weeks or a month and most of those things are to do with mold. I don't want to do mold though. Any suggestions? Maybe I should change my topic. I don't want anything too easy, but nothing too expensive or inconvenient either.

Hi,
Have you looked at the Science Buddies Project Idea Guide? Here are some plant biology projects that sound pretty cool to me, and they are not too hard:

Good luck, and have fun!
