Please help with an Experiment idea :)

I originally wanted to do " Cancer Genome" project. But my plan backfired and i have to find a new one. In my school you have to find an experiment so yo have to have an hypothesis.

Example: Topic-how many genes are in a body, hypothesis: 12

So it can't be something like research which only uses internet. It can't be something like "make markers" either.

difficulty level: 9-10. or it could be something like 7-9, 8-10.
price: very low or low
time: average or maybe a month thats all

you can go to google & search for many other science websites that could answer your question. there are many websites in the world covering details on science experiments. you could also buy a science experiment book.
