Hi Summergirl,
What is your grade level? I noticed that you posted in some other forums designed for different grade levels. We need to know so that we can give advice that is appropriate for your age and experience.
If you are considering nuclear fusion and/or fission, then copper can form other elements. Otherwise, it can only form different compounds. You can find more about these compounds by search for "copper compounds". If you are still having trouble with Google, let us know. I ran a search and the first result that came up had an extensive list of copper compounds.
Good luck,
Chris

As Chris wrote, there are lists on the internet of the compounds that are made using copper. Here is one list:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Copper_compounds

Here is a shorter list but it explains the uses of some of the compounds:
http://www.copperinyourhome.org/applica ... ounds.html

Here is a paper that dicusses copper compounds. You can try to use your school's or local library's database to access the full article:

Hope this helps!

I think this site will give you the info you need to get started.
http://education.jlab.org/qa/atom_model.html
It is not specific to copper, but has general information about how to build a model for any element.
Good luck!
Chris
