Our Science fair topic: Are toilet bowl cleaners effective against killing bacteria??? If so, which ones work the best??? We are using disks impregnated with 6 different toilet bowl cleaners and testing against 5 different types of bacteria. We will measure zones of inhibition. For the research paper I am not sure what to do. Should we research on KB disk diffusion method??? Any suggestions???

Re: Research topic
This seems like a good topic. You could research on the KB disk method as well as the different antimicrobials used and how they work.MicroMedTech wrote:Our Science fair topic: Are toilet bowl cleaners effective against killing bacteria??? I would also check out our Science Fair Project Guide and read the pages under "Doing Background Research."
The guide can be found here: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... l?From=Tab
This will help you determine what terms you should research.
Please reply to your original post if you have any more questions after reading the project guide. We would love to help you.
