I am xii th grade student completed my chemistry project on preparation of PARA RED DYE & FLUORESCENT DYE , i want to know that significance of para red dye & fluorescent dye pl help me to conclude the project , i have to submit the project by 04.11.2009

Hi,
Para Red is an azo dye mainly used in printing and dyeing texxtiles. Its use in food products is banned due to toxicity.

Unfortunately I do not know what you mean by Flourescent Dye. Many chemicals are fluorescent, so I cannot provide information on that half of your question. This does not appear to be a standard Science Buddies experimeent. If you can identify the second chemical, we will look into it.
