Hi,

A number of bicycle lights are designed to run a single wire from the generator or battery bpx tp the light. The wire is connected from one pole of the battery or generator to one side of the lamp. The other pole of the generator or battery is ground to the metal bicyle frame, as the the other side of the lamp.. That is all there is to it. This only works on metal frames (not carbon fiber frames, and usu must make contact with bare metal, paited surface won’t work. If you have problems, try testing the resistance between lamp aand battery or generator with a resistance meter. The resisitance must be quite low.

Best regards,
