URGENT NEED TO CHANGE ONLINE PROJECT!

Dear ScienceBuddies, I did my project on "How does the fabric type effect the end color of dyed fabric?" off of the "How to Make the Boldest Brightest Tie Dye" link. When I put the sampels in the washer, they got stuck in the drain pipe and motor. We had to have a handy-man come to repair it for a fair amount money. I did do the project sucsessfully by hand washing new 12x12cm squares, but please change the directions so this does not happen to anyone else.

Thanks for telling us about this. Sorry you had such a problem! I'll let the Science Buddies staff know that they need to add a warning or change the directions entirely.

Okay, thank you! Maybe suggest putting the sampels in a delicate bag if people could not hand wash them.

The Science Buddies staff changed the project so that the fabric squares are bigger and should not get stuck.
