Hi again!
So there are a bunch of websites that do sell these types of materials, although definitely get an adult to help you out with all of that.

http://www.biology-online.org/biology-f ... it=Factory
Also consult your science teacher about it, many times they already order materials from reliable sources! Best of luck again!

Re: Any ideas where to purchase bacteria?
Hi K-Rock,
One suggestion would be to see if a research lab in a nearby university works with coccolithophorid algae. Someone there might be able to give you some, or could direct you to where the lab purchases its algae.
I also found a thesis online, looking at the culture of coccolithophorid algae for bioremediation: http://researchrepository.murdoch.edu.a ... 2Whole.pdf
In this thesis, the author mentions getting strains of algae from the Center for Culture of Marine Phytoplankton, Biglow Laboratory, Maine. You might try looking up that laboratory and asking whether you could get some algae for your science fair project.
Good luck!
Heather
