Hi,

You might start by looking at these articles:

http://encyclopedia.kids.net.au/page/pi ... lectricity

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?tit ... d=55283535

http://www.spiritus-temporis.com/piezoe ... story.html

If you want to know even more, here is a list of books on piezoelectricity:

http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywor ... j745fbdv_b

I suspect most of these books will be too hard for you to read, but some may not be. If you see one that interests you talk to your local library reference desk person to see if they can borrow it for you. They often can get these books from a university library near you.

You can also try searching the web with google, bing or your favorite search engine using whatever search word(s) are of interest to you. Look through at least the first 5 to ten pages of the hits that come back, as sometimes the best answer is hidden several pages in.

You may want to read this Science Buddies page on getting access to scientific papers:

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... pers.shtml

I hope this helps you get as far into the subject as you wish to go. Best of luck on your project!!!
