Project Ideas to do with Food and other Hands on Stuff
Alright, I'm supposed to think of four science fair questions for this year: 1 main question I really want to do and 3 back up. I cannot think of anything. I've read the stuff on here but I've done a ton of these expirements so I'm looking for something new. Is there anyway anyone could think of expirements that you have to use artsy skills and be hands on for? If you can think of one thank you
Also, I really like clouds and steam (I don't know why I just do
) so if you could think of one that has to do with that that would be great

Hi
The best suggestion I can make is to use our Science Buddies Project Idea Guide, use the Toic Suggestion Wizard and answer the questions about what you like/want, and then look at the ideas it suggests:
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... deas.shtml
The secibd way is to just browse your way through the project ideas by classification. If that fails to turn up ideas you like you can also go to www.google.com and enter ”science fair experiments” in the search box, and look at the search results. Between these approaches you will find several hundred ideas. If all this fails you will have to put your creative thinking hat on and come up with an original idea or four. Talk to your friends or parents about the most interesting thngs that have come up in your science classes or go to a science museum and think about the most interesting exhibits and the question they raise, or ask your teachers for ideas. There are tons of really fascinating projects out there. When I was your age I found my science fair topics by reading - Scientific American magazine was wonderful as a source of great ideas. You might also try to find articles by Marvin Gardner on the internet, particularly his old columns entitled “The Amateur Scientist”, which always had really great ideas. Another approach is to read through the abstracts of projects done for science fairs (which you can find by searching the internet). Here is an example site:
http://www.super-science-fair-projects. ... jects.html
You might think about projects on climate and weather if you like clouds.
If you put your mind to work on this you will find enough ideas to stay busy for decades.
Good luck and have fun!
