When hanging around in a group of young adults, why is it that a male has a greater recall on movi quips or able to recite movie lines far more readily than females? How would I set this up and what should I start doing. will I have a control group or exsperiment. my project isn't do for another few months.

Hi!
This seems to be a very interesting idea, although I would argue that I think it depends largely on what type of movies you are dealing with. Here is a sample project that is along the lines of how well people can recall events, which you can then modify to dealing with only movies for your project:

I would caution that I think that there are a lot of "lurking variables," or hidden sources of bias in your hypothesis as it is now. For example, as I mentioned before, does this apply to all movies? Does it even apply to all men? Remember to keep variables consistent while you are conducting your project, such as where the subjects are watching the movie, whether they are watching it with members of the opposite gender, the temperature of the room, if/what food is being provided, etc. This sounds like a very fun project, and I hope you have fun with it!
