I have decided to do a Science fair project on wave energy converters. I am in Seventh garde and need to know how to make the various wave energy converters at home. I have tried reserching and really cannot find a way to make the wave energy converters at home

There may or may not be a way to make some types of wave energy converters within your budget and within your skill level. The key is being able to adapt and work within your constraints and still do some interesting science. Do you live near an ocean or lake that has waves? If not, then part of your experiment will have to be something to make waves.

A simple fishing line, bobber, weight, hook, and bait is one of the oldest small scale wave energy converters. The wave action on the bobber will bounce the bait up and down and some fish will strike the moving target.

A pool skimmer is another wave activated device.

You just need to get creative and figure out how to utilize wave action on some boyant object to pull or push on something and then use that push-pull action to do some useful work and then figure out how to safely do some scientific investigation using that kind of a device.
