How a radio works.

Post by deleted-77426 »

Hi there, I'm a 15 year old guy from Sweden and me and my friend are going work about radio, more precise we are going to explain how a radio works for my class. I've been looking around on the internet and found informations but I would really appreciate someone doing a proper explaination with me being able to ask questions so I later on can explain everything myself.
So back to the question, how radio works (with all it's waves, electricity and magnetic stuff. How the translation between sound waves to radio waves works etc.)
Thanks in advance/Mattias

Hello Mattias,

I can help with your question, but rather I than write a long, general explanation, you will find much information with a web search. You can search ScienceBuddies.org for "how radio works," or a general web search for the same topic. You will turn up many resources such as http://www.howstuffworks.com/radio.htm.
After you have a general idea, get back to me with specific questions, and we can go from there as far as you want to go.
