Microbial fuel cell (MFC) using benethic mud samples
i would like to know if someone can simplify the circuitry, for tesing the fuel cells to collect data. If could, send me a drawing or simplified instructions in hooking up this circuit. Would appreciate if anyone could help us on this projecy,thank you.

What are you trying to measure?
Predicting the MFC's internal resistance at any given operating point is a challenge. You often have to play with a wide range of external load resisters so that you match MFC's internal resistance at its operating point at any given time within an order of magnitude. If you have too high an external load resistance value, you will shut down the MFC's process. If you have too low an external load resistance, any meter readings will be less than the noise floor of the meter.
IMO: The easiest measurement is a DC current measurement where you just use the meter on a DC current scale as the load.
Measuring the open circuit voltage is another handy thing to know; however, you don't want to leave the MFC with no load for very long.
