Radio Recption

Hello I need some help on my science fair project, How does solar activity affect radio reception? I couldn't think of a way to measure radio reception and I wondered if you had any thoughts? If you have an answer to my conundrum than please respond quickly.

You'll need to begin with some basic research. The phenomenon of how solar flares affect radio performance has been well studied and understood for decades. There is much information about it on the internet.

One thing about this type of topic for a science project is that it will take a lot of calendar time. To be a good experiment, you must have multiple data points and repeated test results. In the case of solar flares, they occur over long periods of time, so you will have to be prepared to make many observations over a long period of time - months - in order to do a good experiment.

One internet site I found that is particularly interesting is this one...

Give is a look.

Whatever you decide to do, have fun!

Have you done any research (online searches)? Try searching for "Sunspot effects on communication".
