Glue + Borax = ?

Post by MatelCap »

Hey guys, I came across your site and I really need help on this. By the way, if there is an "introduce yourself" section and "forum rules" section, please show me because I can't see any.
I really need the chemical equation for the classic putty made from glue and borax.
I tried to attempt to make one, but I can't find the chemical formula of both polyvinyl acetate and borax.
Please help.

Hello MatelCap,

A very important part of research is finding what is already known and learning the background for whatever you plan to study.

The chemical formulas for both Borax and polyvinyl acetate are easily found with a simple web search.
