I'm not sure what your project is about. Are you referring to a project listed on Science Buddies? If yes, please give me the url. If no, give me some description of what you plan to do.
Just guessing what you have in mind, I think studying the relation between gravitational energy (how high) and kinetic energy (how fast) makes a good project.
