its really urjent:pls help me out in hydrogen producing

Post by fabliha mayesha »

Well I've selected hydrogen producing process for upcoming science fair at last, which will start after 1 week for 3 days. Now I've a couple of questions:
1.In that project can I use NaCl to dissolve in water instead of white' rock salt' ????
2.What sort of electrodes should I choose? I mean from what matter they should be made of???? [ Please suggest any kind of easily and cheaply available electrodes. I can not efford to buy them from online stores or can't spend much money for electrodes.]

I am unsure what project you have in mind. Your "project" in your profile is arsenic removal, but in this post you seem to be interested in some process that involves producing hydrogen. Are you, perhaps, interested in this project:

If you can give us a better idea of what your proposed project is, we will attempt to help. Also, please explain further what distinction you are making between salt (NaCl) and "white rock salt".
