I'm not sure I understand the question. Generally speaking, electric motors work by using Faraday's Law of Induction (look that up). That is, they work by an interaction between magnetic fields and currents running in wires (bringing these near each other results in a force that turns the motor).

As for how it relates to "Science", that's tricky, because science is a process for discovering and verifying new pieces of knowledge about the world. You can find a lot of information about the scientific method on this website, and by searching on the web.
