HELP! physical science, have to be measurable and valid

Post by ahhh »

Hello, im in 8th grade. My science topic is due this friday, May 4th and we didnt even choose a topic! We tried candy chromatography and maple syrup forming crystal from this website but none of them worked. We're trying to find a new topic that is physics or chemistry. Something measurable and valid. We don't really have time to buy materials so I wish we could get materials at home. A simple experiment we can just finish after school in less than an hour. Please help ASAP. Thank you.

Hello ahhh,

Indeed you have a problem in doing a project in three days. If you had contacted us earlier about your problems in the two experiments you tried, maybe we could have helped.

All I know to suggest is to look through the projects at https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... deas.shtml. Look for a project that has a low difficulty rating.

Since you have already tried the candy chromatography project, you must have the materials for that already. Let us know how it is failing, and we'll try to help.
