AI Formative Feedback

Below are a collection of fields from Science Buddies worksheets that have been enhanced with AI. Explore our new AI Evaluation tool as if you were a student: type in your answer and click the "AI Evaluate" button. For more information, visit our FAQ.
What is your Science Project Question?
Educators: Type your own project question or use a sample question.
Please share your feedback for each response with a simple thumbs up or thumbs down!
What is the Independent Variable for your project?
The Independent, Dependent and Controlled Variable evaluations attempt to identify when a student may be confused about variable types. Try a wrong answer to see the results.
What is the Dependent Variable for your project? (You can list more than one if necessary)
Because the list of potential controlled variables could be extensive, this AI evaluation works differently. If a student provides only one controlled variable they are encouraged to think of more. If they provide two or more, then suggestions are offered to help them think of additional controlled variables.
What are the Controlled Variables for your project?
Most of our AI evaluation tools use multiple fields for a comprehensive evaluation. For example, the Hypothesis evaluation uses the Project Question as additional context to ensure the student has properly addressed the question.
What is your Science Project Hypothesis?
What is your Science Project Prediction?
