Sound waves
Does the type of medium affect how well you can hear a sound? Like if you increase the density of the medium, does it change the highest frequency you can hear?

Hi puppieshedgehogz34,
Are you working on a science project related to sound transmission in different media? If so, Science Buddies has a couple of projects that may be of interest to you:
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... absorption
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... es#summary
The information from the background, bibliography and procedure sections should help answer questions you may have about sound transmission.
I hope this helps. Please ask again if you have more questions.
A. Norman
