This project can definitely take some tweaking to get the robot to jump. Step 12 in the experiment describes some possible issues and solutions. Can you explain more about the problem you are experiencing? For example, is the motor unable to move, are the wheels unable to grip the dowel properly, or does the motor slip correctly, but the robot doesn't jump at all?
