Making my own radio transmitter
I am having trouble with coming up with a hypothesis for building a radio transmitter. I did get the transmitter to work. My question for the science project would be how songs are transmitted by a radio station. Do you think my hypothesis could be building a AM radio transmitter and testing its broadcast range with a radio receiver?

Re: Making my own radio transmitter
Hi lindamallen,
A hypothesis usually involves an if-then statement - "If" some variable is changed, "then" this result will occur because....Can you change something about the transmitter to see how that affects the broadcast range of the radio? Or is there some other variable you can change that might impact the range/some other quality of the radio?
The Science Buddies project guide is also useful if you want to know more about creating a hypothesis: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... hypothesis
I hope this helps and please feel free to ask more questions!
