Growing Plants on Mars - Weather Implications

Hi,
I am considering trying this experiment for my school's science fair which takes place in January of next year. This means I would most likely have to conduct the experiment during the winter. So I was thinking and now I'm concerned that the cold weather might affect the effectiveness of the experiment, and I do not have the space or materials to grow them inside my house. What would you recommend?

Hi,

Some ideas to grow the plants might be:
- asking a science teacher for access to a school garden or greenhouse?
- using microgreens inside your home as they grow in tiny cups (here's a link to learn more - https://extension.psu.edu/a-step-by-ste ... ns-at-home)
- or possibly clearing space in a shelf near a window to grow the plants so you can use the available room.

You might also want to ask your teacher for other ideas or options.
