Purchasing Kits & Supplies from Bio-Rad
Bio-Rad, a well-known supplier of equipment and reagents for life sciences research and clinical diagnostics, has a line of science education materials for middle and high school students. The kits and supplies are sold directly to educators. Students interested in using the kits for a science fair project can ask their teachers to place an order for them.
Educators, to place your first order, simply follow these three easy steps:
- Apply for an Education Discount: See Bio-Rad's Education Discount Policy, available to K-12 and undergraduate educators, for a substantial discount on kits and materials.
- Create an Account: Call Bio-Rad at 1-800-424-6723 to set up a new account. Alternatively, if you have completed step 1, wait for one of their customer service representatives to contact you.
- Place an Order: Either complete your school's paperwork for a purchase order using your new Bio-Rad account information, or use a credit card you have linked to the account to place your order online. If you need a quote for your purchase order, simply start off as if you are placing an online order and use the "Add to Quote" button rather than the "Add to Shopping Cart" button.
