Not a question but some research of my own
As an engineer with a keen interest in home automation and sustainable technologies, I recently conducted research on selecting the best thermostat for airbnb properties. My aim was not only to ensure guest comfort but also to contribute to energy efficiency and sustainability.

Supercooling and Snap Freezing
Supercooling and Snap Freezing
Hello, I have a few questions about this project:
1. Does supercooling before freezing mean that when you tap the cup it should instantly turn to ice or is that only for bottled waters?
2. If the water does not reach a temperature of -1 to -3 Celsius before the 30 minutes is ended does that mean it would be a no on a chart saying if it supercooled or not?
3. Could you list the dependent variable, independent variable, control,…

Testing the Effects of colloidal silver on daphnia
Hello. I am doing a project where I will be testing the effects of colloidal silver on daphnia. I would also like to test how long the daphnia will stay alive in water from 3 ponds that are used by people. One is Ascarte Lake in El Paso, Texas. One is a man-made lake in Las Cruces, NM, and the other is Balmorhea State Park Pool in Texas. This one is interesting because the pool is filled…

Question about Build a Circuit to Automatically Water Your Plants
We have built the circuit but would like to test the pump. Is there a way to just run the water pump to make sure it works?
Thank you
Re: Question about Build a Circuit to Automatically Water Your Plants
Hi - you can just connect the pump directly to a battery (without the Arduino) to confirm that it works. It should turn on immediately.

How do you culture bacteria?
How do you culture bacteria?
I am doing a science project for a class on what kills bacteria the best. But a major part of it is culturing bacteria. I have an idea of how to but I want to make sure that I am doing it in the best way. What materials do I need? What process do I follow? How can I make it the same for all tests I do? Please if someone can help me clarify and led me in the right direction.

Feeding Earthworms Question IMPORTANT
Feeding Earthworms Question IMPORTANT
Hello,
I had a question on the Feeding Earthworms project. In the article it mentions using the Soil test kit that tests pH, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. The problem is the data that is shown on these kits is shown as N0, N1, N2, P0, P1, P2, etc. The problem is what measurement am I using for this, how can I translate this into another form of data that is quantifiable?
Thanks,
Kaleb Taddesse.

SCIENCE CONTINENTAL TO CONTINENTAL PLATES (CONVERGENT BOUNDARY)
SCIENCE CONTINENTAL TO CONTINENTAL PLATES (CONVERGENT BOUNDARY)
Can only one mountain be formed at the convergent boundary (continental to continental plates)?
cause we made a model about convergent boundary. and our model shows only one big mountain made of plastic bottle. it's like both sides of the box have a side of mountain so when you pull the one box, it collides with the other box so it forms a one mountain.
I don't…
