Question about Soil Moisture Detector circuit
Question about Soil Moisture Detector circuit
Here is the link to the project I am talking about: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science-fair-projects/project-ideas/Elec_p066/electricity-electronics/build-an-electronic-soil-moisture-sensor-to-conserve-water
I have tweaked this circuit and reconstructed it several times. It worked originally, but now the LED light never fully turns off like it did before. Instead, it dims when moisture is…

Enzyme detergent science project
Enzyme detergent science project
Hi we are doing the science for a project with the laundry detergent containing enzymes and one not continuing times and our hypothesis was that the 1 With enzymes would work better than the one without but they actually work exactly the same They got out the same stains and the truth is that didn't come out. Look the same on both so now we know our hypothes as was incorrect but we don't know where to go from for here for the…

Green Chemistry - Biofabric Activity
Green Chemistry - Biofabric Activity
My middle school classes have been trying to make the biofabric following the procedure in your activity. It has not been very successful. We have not been able to get many of the dried materials to release from the material that we poured it into. We have also tried putting it on saran wrap over the fabric, using a fruit leather tray in a dehydrator, and finally in petri dishes. Petri dishes ended up being the most…

Nitrogen Affects Plant Growth Experiment
Nitrogen Affects Plant Growth Experiment
How does nitrogen affects plant growth experiment? Please give the purpose, hypothesis, possible materials, and three resources would be very much appreciated. I do not understand the meaning of a "control" in this experiment as there needs to be 3 plants: one with nitrogen, one without nitrogen, and the control. Please inform me what I should do for the control plant (like how much nitrogen or things should I…

Servo Motors for a Clinostat
Servo Motors for a Clinostat
I'm using a servo motor that requires a screw to attach the blade, creating a hump at the head of the screw... I need to apply double-sided tape on top of it but that won't work if the blade is not flat, which it isn't because of the blade. Any suggestions?
Re: Servo Motors for a Clinostat
Not knowing the specifications, its hard to tell, but you could try either sanding down the screw head or finding a flat head screw. You could…
