Wind Turbine error Wind Turbine error Hello! I have a science fair (Unfourtunately in 3 days) and i'm having trouble with my wind turbine. I am using a 2-6v D.C motor and have a 4 blade windmill (each being 10cm x 1cm x the depth which i am adjusting). However it isn't producing more than 0.4v and of course not producing enough energy to light up a bulb. I'm desperate thank you much. Re: Wind Turbine error Hi, A 2-6V DC motor means that the motor is rated to work with a 2-6V power supply… Read more

Does a megnet affect static feild on a CRT TV? if not what does? Does a megnet affect static feild on a CRT TV? if not what does? ive seen this video of these Japanese fellows playing CRT TV guitars and drums (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0VYsiMtrNE) and i started to ponder on how that would work and ive thought of a basic layout (this not regarding the PCB construction) so far i believe it would contain of a CRT TV RCA jacks 1 magnet 1 footpedal for a real guitar 1 receiver (Maybe… Read more

Vitamin C concentration Vitamin C concentration So I was doing a Vitamin C Titration experiment basically like the orange juice one posted on this site, but instead with an aqueous Capsicum Solution. I was wondering if the equation used on experiment actually figures out the concentration of vitamin C in each sample or I need to find a different one, as my science Teacher didn't know if the question was right or wrong. If I need a new equation my teacher suggest to use concentration=… Read more
HHHEELLLPPP HHHEELLLPPP I got my project idea from this website, science buddies and I have decided to do the fun or frustrating one. I need help to come up with the procedure and experiment. My question is, "Is fun correlated with winning?" I was thinking to get two groups of volunteers and let one group play an easy mode for an online game and one group the hard mode and let them take a survey afterwards to determine whether they found the game fun or boring. Im not sure if I should time… Read more
pH Meter a effective tool to measure algae growth? pH Meter a effective tool to measure algae growth? Hello, I’m doing a science project on how turbidity and suspended solids affect the growth of chlorella vulgaris. Essentially, i’m planning to have multiple containers with algae cultures, with varying amount of sediment and a water flow machine that stimulates movement. The project pretty much seeks to find out the effects of erosion and suspended solids on the growth of algae. Would a pH… Read more
Can I do a project based off Exoplanet J1407B? Can I do a project based off Exoplanet J1407B? Hello, I have one question I'd like to ask, there is a exoplanet called J1407B or Super Saturn, and I'd like to know if it's possible to do a project based off the exoplanet, Good day :D . Re: Can I do a project based off Exoplanet J1407B? Hi! Astronomy is so fascinating, so it's cool to see that you're interested in exoplanets! Science Buddies has a few exoplanet-related projects, which I have… Read more

sending command programatically sending command programatically So typically one would do something like "hey google, what time is it" or "what is the weather. I was wondering if there was a way to do the same thing via code. such as: if event.type == EventType.ON_ALERT_STARTED: do this thing ('what time is it") so that everytime the eventype alert was triggered, I could initiate a command, as I would as if I was saying it. Thanks much++ Re: sending command programatically Hi - this… Read more

Battery life capactiy Battery life capactiy Hello, I have a question regarding a formula to calculate the battery life of a drone. So, when I start to research on google, I can not find a formula which I can use to calculate how much the weight and distance affects the battery life of the drone. If possible, please respond to this soon, as I need to get started on the topic ASAP.
