Catchy title for paper book tower project
Catchy title for paper book tower project
Hi, looking for ideas for a catchy title for my child’s science fair project. We are making columns out of paper, in different shapes. Cylinder, square, etc. And testing how many books the columns can hold in a stack, before the stack collapses. Paper towers or paper power is all I can think of but wanting something more eye catching. Thank you!

Changing equipment in Exothermic Reaction Rates
Changing equipment in Exothermic Reaction Rates
Hello, I was wondering how I could change the oxygen tank situation in the Exothermic Reaction Rate science experiment, where I am investigating how different levels of oxygen affect the exothermic oxidation of iron powder. Is there an easier way to not include the oxygen tank in this experiment, or a different way to do it in general.
Thank you

How Does Color Affect Heating by Absorption of Light? Experiment redo (urgent-ish)

I used this project (https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science-fair-projects/project-ideas/Phys_p030/physics/how-does-color-affect-heating-by-absorption-of-light.), as my science fair project for my local school. I have advanced to the city-wide level, and I am looking to…

Candy erosion
Candy erosion
I’m helping my son with a science fair experiment about erosion, adapted from here:
https://www.education.com/science-fair/article/erosion/
I’m looking for advice on how to measure/display the results. So far we have tested two types of candy, and both broke down/eroded in moving water vs still water. One was a hard candy (pez) that broke into small pieces, the other an m&m that shrunk in size but was intact. It’s obvious that moving water broke down or…

Urgent help needed in Microbiology project!!
Urgent help needed in Microbiology project!!
Hello,
I'm working on a dye degrader microbe isolation project. So for enrichment I'm using Mineral Salt Medium with anthracene as a sole carbon source. There's no other carbon source added.
I was supposed to add 0.01g anthracene in 500ml of the medium(according to references and my guide), but during separate preparation of 250ml+250ml in two flasks I added 0.5g in each 250ml😖which becomes 1g…
