Hi there,
I tried to change in my paper rocket's design by increasing the fins... At the begining I added to boosters and watched the performence then I tried to add more fins but nothing was happened.... I expected more time would be consumed to the rocket to reach the same point as a result of resisting gravity because of the fins but I did not Notice…

Feasibility of nanoparticle + algae project
Feasibility of nanoparticle + algae project
Hello!
I was considering doing a project about nanoparticle toxicity on algae. Specifically, I wanted to analyze the difference between aggregated and nonaggregated nanoparticles (deciding between ZnO and TiO2. Maybe I'll do both!).
Some sources I have read indicate that nanoparticle aggregation can increase toxicity, while others say that aggregation makes NPs less toxic.
I also found a source that…

Nuclear chain reaction and slow-speed neutrons
Nuclear chain reaction and slow-speed neutrons
I want to know why the nuclear chain reaction happens well in slow-speed neutrons.
When uranium-235 is used as a nuclear fuel, the fission cross-sectional area of uranium is said to be larger as the energy of the colliding neutron decreases.
Then why does the lower the energy, the bigger it gets?

Unibrows
Hey so i am not a student anymore, but i have a question about something i have been curious about for a super long time. Basically i went through a huge identity/exestential crisis a few years back and had the feeling that i was different than other people and somehow i stumbled across noticing a bunch of really great/strange people have unibrows. For awhile i was really obsessed with the idea that unibrows had some strange correlation with the way the psyche works but…

URGENT NEED HELP
hi,
I am doing an experiment and I am gathering my DNA and A tomatoes DNA to make a GMO plant I just wanted to know (how I can mix DNA together and make it even?)
because us humans share 60% of tomato DNA so I divided that by 2 and got 30. I need it to be even otherwise it wont work I if I don't know how to do it …. also is there any other option I can use beside a gene gun to inject my plant .
thank you for your help I would appreciate if you can…

Why DNA polymerases don't have helicase activity
Why DNA polymerases don't have helicase activity
RNA polymerases have intrinsic helicase ability, DNA polymerases don't.
I am curious why DNA polymerases evolved in such a way that they lack the ability to unwind DNA.
Re: Why DNA polymerases don't have helicase activity
I would like to add to what the previous expert said by pointing out that there is a DNA polymerase associated with a helicase in the prokaryote E. coli. It is the RecBCD…
