Spring Constant in Paper Speaker Kit
Spring Constant in Paper Speaker Kit
I am a student in AP Physics C: Mechanics, and I used the Paper Speaker Kit (SKU: SB-PAPSPK) for my research project. I am currently in the process of writing the research paper, and I need to know the spring constant of the spring in the kit. Is there an official spring constant value associated with this spring?

How do you prevent a boat from rocking back and forth?
How do you prevent a boat from rocking back and forth?

Catalase decompose hydrogen
Catalase decompose hydrogen
Hello, I'm doing a science fair project about if increasing the temperature of milk will increase the efficiency of removing hydrogen peroxide from it using catalase. Because of this, I'm inclined to include the presence of milk in my experience by adding a large amount of it to a small amount of 3% hydrogen peroxide. But this will decrease the concentration of hydrogen peroxide and make the process catalyze harder and slower. Should I…

Chromatography Experiment
Chromatography Experiment
(Posted on behalf of student/family)
Initial post: We have followed the experiment (Skittles dye extraction) multiple times as indicated in the photo attached. We have allowed the samples to spend hours in the solvent and cannot get the chromatograph to spread. We repeated the experiment twice with red skittles, and then again twice with yellow skittles. We have even increased the saline concentration of the solvent from 1/8 tsp salt to…

Using Mushrooms/Fungi to Make Fuel
Using Mushrooms/Fungi to Make Fuel
I am currently researching fungi and the things it can do. I came across articles of mushrooms being used to make fuel but haven't found many resources for information. I have found some articles mentioning it but not going into detail about it and they are usually years old.
Does anyone have any recommendations for what to do or know anything about this topic or if it's still relevant in any way?
