Chemistry project

Turn milk into plastic project I would like to do a project similar to this one. I would like to know if we can use anything to replace milk. The materials are easy to find and cheap

Hi - If you are doing this for a school project, you will want to look at this project version (instead of the activity):

Please note this is a "beginner" project (which means it is most suited for elementary school students). You posted in the grades 9-12 forum, so this may not be a suitable project for your assignment.

You will want to do some research (and read the introductory material) to better understand the science behind the project and why "milk" is used.
