Germination
Germination
What are some plants that can grow well in germination?
Re: Germination
Hi! I think your question is asking which plants germinate easily. If you’re referring mainly to germination speed, some good options are:
•Beans (Lima beans often germinate in under 3 weeks)
•Radishes (especially Cherry Belle; they sprout very quickly)
•Tomatoes (usually germinate in under 2 weeks)
All of these germinate quickly under basic conditions like moisture, temperature and adequate…

I am experimenting on which form of supplement (Liquigel, meltable, and hard shell) is the most efficient in delivering medication. What is a substance that I may use that is NOT unsafe to the human body and can be used in a non-laboratory environment that can mimic the stomach acid in the human body?
Thanks,

Validity of the WebFx Hex Color Picker
Hello,
My daughter is working on a 7th grade science fair project and is doing the "Ho to Make the Boldest, Brightest Tie-Dye" experiment. I am trying to understand how the project suggested the use of the "color picker" tool which is the WebFx Hex Color Picker. The teacher wanted to know how we decided to use that specific tool, I know it is suggested, however how did they decided on that specific tool and a…

Agricultural Biodegradable Ph Indicator Hydrogel
Agricultural Biodegradable Ph Indicator Hydrogel
Hello,
I am requesting your help on a experiment I am conducting. The experiment is an agricultural biodegradable Ph Indicator Hydrogel. For my hydrogel, I am following the instructions from Science Buddies, and for the Ph Indicator, I am using red cabbage. Will this work? I plan to pour the red cabbage in the hydrogel, and study whether the water is acidic or not.

fossil fuels
fossil fuels
how can I show people that fossil fuel usage affects our planet?
Re: fossil fuels
Hello,
That is a great idea! One way you could show that fossil fuel usage affects our planet is by looking at data from the past twenty or so years and comparing the usage of fossil fuels to climate change. A fun experiment to demonstrate the effect of greenhouse gases on our planet is to simulate it in a jar. Here is a link to instructions for this project:…

Voltage measuring
Voltage measuring
I’m doing the “dealing with diabetes” project but when I measure the voltage of the conductivity sensor in the distilled and tap water they both come out to 5.07 which I know is above what it is supposed to be. Along with that, the voltage readings shouldn’t both be the same. Is there something wrong with my project? The attached file is what my project looks like so far in case it is an issue with that.
