Rice husk ash-derived zeolites
Rice husk ash-derived zeolites
Hello, I am interested in conducting a project involving the synthesis of zeolites from rice husk ash. So far my research has indicated that I need to use a hydrothermal reaction to produce these zeolites, but I do not have access to an autoclave or a controlled heat source. My goal is to create a habitat for marine life that also adsorbs nitrate from water. This will require me to create a single mass of zeolites that has been…

What exactly happens during freezing?
What exactly happens during freezing?
I did an experiment about the Mpemba effect and found that the time spent at the freezing stage contributes to the rate at which the water freezes. Some took longer while others didn't take as much time. All I know about freezing is that the water molecules gradually lose energy and stay in place due to the intermolecular bonds, but I don't know how or why they would spend different amounts of time at the freezing…

If I spit into a sealed jar 20 years ago, would the spit contain stem cells
If I chewed up a bunch of bubblegum and spit it into a glass jar and sealed it 20 years ago, would there be anything dangerous inside?
Further, is it possible that my stem cells would be inside the jar and therefore it would be advantageous to keep this jar?
I have this jar and it has gone through many stages over the years different colors... purple... black... green…

Phytoremedation
Phytoremedation
Hello,
I am a student in 9th grade and I am doing research on phytoremediation. I plan to grow plants on soil contaminated with heavy metals and then harvest them. However, I am unsure how I can test the levels of heavy metals in the plants. Many research papers I read said that they ashed the plants and then conducted chemical processes to test the heavy metal content. I want to know the exact process on how to test my plants for heavy metals after I harvest.…
