My kindergartner is hoping to conduct this experiment for his school's upcoming science fair.

Our issue is that we are having trouble finding a variety of geodes to use in the experiment without spending a fortune. The supplier suggested only sells one variety of quartz geode. Does anyone have a good suggestion as to where to find a reasonably priced variety of geodes that can be used to conduct the experiment? It wont be much fun if all the geodes are the same size and color inside...
Where do I get the Geodes I need?

The source linked does have geodes in varying sizes available. You might look online at other sources, too, to increase the variety and give your student a range of geodes to examine on the outside before cracking them open. For example, geodes are available from various sources at Amazon. (https://amzn.to/2SieaQf)
