Alternative Sources for Paper Fiber instead of Bamboo

Post by GabNadate »

We have a research project due in weeks. My partner and I thought that we could make Eco-friendly colored paper bags from recycled paper and bamboo plant fibers for the paper and plant (suggested: fruits) extracts for the tint. Our reserach teacher suggested that we use local plants for making the plant fiber for the paper, we are located in the Philippines. What would you guys suggest my partner and I could use as an alternative plant fiber if ever bamboo will fail?

I hope at least one can give a suggestion. Thank you in advance!
