In the Project Are finger prints inherited. it talks about unrelated pairs and sibling pairs. I am not sure of the exact definition of unrelated pair. Does parent to child count as unrelated? The wording in the procedure step 3.C calls out unrelated pairs and sibling pairs.
some clarification on whether parent to child is counted as unrelated in context to the experiment would be appreciated.
