Making Juglone solution from walnut leaves

We are working on the experiment called "Toxic trees: Just how toxic is that Black Walnut tree?". The procedure says to use 20 black walnut leaves to make the solution. Does this mean 20 whole leaf stem bunches or 20 individual leaves? In the background info of the experiment, it shows a pictures and calls the entire leaf stem a "leaf" and the individual leaves are called "leaflets". Just need clarification on how much goes into the solution - 20 bunches, or 20 individual leaves.

It looks like it is referring to the entire leaf stems, so there should be more than 20 "leaflets" (as they call it) in your juglone solution.
Although you can probably record the same results either way.

Hello!

Looking at the materials page of the project you are working on, it looks like 60 leaflets are needed for your project. The leaflets are the individual leaves that make up the leaf (bunch of leaves attached to the single branch) that you see pictured on the “background” page of the link to your project.

So, make sure to collect 60 individual leaves for this project.
