hello ma'am/sir,
I am working on a project that stops that annoying sudden static electric shocks, I have done a lot of research and it would be helpful to know if such a thing already exists. I have already seen anti-static wristbands, but those are for working with dangerous currents. Can you also clearly describe how those anti-static wristbands work, and finally does static electricity affect pacemakers ?
thanks a lot,
Neerraj

Re: anti static products
Hello,
Here is a link describing on how such a device works:
https://www.wepc.com/how-to/properly-us ... ist-strap/
but the gist of it is that any static charge in your body will be dissipated through the reaction of grounding. Grounding, simplified, is where electricity leaves the once charged object, making the object have no charge.
Static electricity does affect pacemakers, based on this link here:

If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask! Good luck!
