photosynthesis

Post by FernandodeLeon »

The process of photosynthesis includes the destruction of a molecule of water. 6 CO2 + 6 H2O → C6H12O6 + 6 O2. Photo-synthesizing organisms have been destroying water molecules for more than 3 billion years. What natural process returns the water to the planet?

This forum is for students in grades K-12 who need help with their science projects. If you are indeed a student in those grades and are doing a science project, please provide more details about your project, including your hypothesis and the experiments you plan to conduct. Otherwise, there are other places on the web where your questions will be more appropriate. Thank you.
