Butane detector

Post by MinionSama »

hi! It's a pleasure to be part of this forum.
Well, I want to create a small gadget that can be attached to the cooking gas tank (butane) and make noise when this gas goes out. I think it would be useful as a detector to avoid explosions due to gas leaks. How should I start?

Hello,

This sounds like a fun project. A good place to start may be to research how gas leaks are detected by utility workers or firefighters. This may give you some ideas on the type of equipment currently used and how it could be adapted for a home cooking gas tank.

Good luck,

Audrey
