Urgent- Plexi glass substitution

Post by Taylor 625 »

Hi, I am building the apparatus for the "Spare-Change Circus: Walking Coins on a 'High Wire' project. I need a 1/4" piece of plexi glass. Would it be okay to put several pieces of acrylic to meet that requirement? Will it work?

Hello and welcome to the forum:

Are you talking about this piece?
piece of Plexiglass, wood, aluminum, or other thin (3/8 or 1/4 in), stiff, non-magnetic material for wall, (approximate size: 8 in × 10 in)
As it says, all you need is for it to be stiff and non-magnetic. I think sheets of acrylic meet that requirement, but try it and see. It's best if the "wall" is clear, but not required.

Best,
Keith

Thank you. My mom found a piece of plexi-glass for me. I will try it out!
