Title HELP PLEASE AND THANK YOU
My project is about electricity. Which will produce more electricity with the use of a lemon, copper wire or a penny. Suggestions for a title????????? Thank you in advance.
Re: Title HELP PLEASE AND THANK YOU
Hello SciFiJedi,
Before I suggest a title, I have some advice which might be helpful for your project.
When you state that you are testing electricity, you need to ask yourself how exactly are you planning to measure that. Though I might misunderstand your project's problem/question, it appears that you are wondering whether a lemon, copper wire, or penny produce the most electricity. If so, you must understand that neither a copper wire nor a penny will "produce" electricity (although a lemon actually can). However, they might be able to conduct electricity (stated simply, an object's electrical conductivity is how well it transfers/carries an electric charge). In other words, you might be able to use them as conductors for a source of electricity (such as a battery). You can then test which is the best conductor by determining which one among the lemon, copper wire, and penny results in the least amount of electrical resistance.
If you are comparing how well these objects conduct electricity (which might be the best option), then a catchy title would be "Conductivity Conundrum: Among Copper, Citrus, and Cents, Which One Best Conducts Electricity?"
Also, if you would like more detailed information on conductivity, current, and resistance, here are some helpful links:
- Conductivity: https://www.thoughtco.com/definition-of ... ity-605064
- Current: https://www.thoughtco.com/electrical-current-2698954
- Resistance: https://www.thoughtco.com/definition-of ... ity-605065
Also, to measure voltage, current, or resistance, you will need a tool called a multimeter. Science Buddies has an article explaining how to use one: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... eroverview.
Please let me know if you have any more questions or comments.

Yes that is correct

Thank you cvionis!! That is what I meant conduct not produce, my mom was helping me post this question since dad is in the hospital with a broken neck. Guess I need to practice my experiment with her as my audience, see if I can teach her the difference. Love this title!!!

Light me Up Brighter since it is to calculate which object provides the most electricity
