What should i choose?

Post by Quozzy »

 Hello

I am a 7th grade GT Pre-AP Student at S.J Davis middle school in Texas. I am doing a science project on Protein Functions, but before i can begin i need a base Protein. Can you help me decide which one i should use?

Sincerly,
Quozzy "Sonic" Kankaro

P.S: I have no idea on how long this will take, that is why i am starting so early.

Egg Protein

Post by shaematalib »

Sonic,

You might want to work with a protein that is easily available. You can try albumin aka egg's white. Albumin is a water soluble heat-coagulating protein that is also found in blood serum and milk.

You can either use egg white to extract the protein, if you need to extract it, or use commercial egg protein.

Hope this helps.
