Drosophila project on Green Tea and Ginseng (HELP!!)

Post by douglasphong »

Hi,

I'm Douglas Hong and I am a junior in high school. I wanted to start a project testing the affects of green tea and ginseng on drosophila under stress like lower temperatures. I was wondering how much green tea and ginseng would be a good amount to combine with the drosophila food. Please help me. Thank You

Hi Douglas,

I looked online and found that one person who did the same experiment used 1 teaspoon of a tea solution and 1 teaspoon on dry fruit fly food. This is just a suggestion though, so remember that in your experiment you get to chose the amount. This site might help you if you have any basic questions on the experiment.

Good luck!
