5th Gr - Fuel Cell with Sap/Sugar

Post by tbones »

Hello:
My daughter is wanting to do a fuel cell experiment for her science fair project. She wanted to test whether you can use other "fuels" besides water - we read about a scientists doing this with sap, soda water, etc. I am needing help finding the resources to help her get her project design. Thoughts? Resources? Any help is appreciated.

Hello,

I am no expert on fuel cells, but I do know that there are several other threads on this forum which talk about fuel cells. Try putting "fuel cells" in the search bar at the top right of this page and checking out some of the Ask an Expert results. The following link is an example of what you might find:

I hope that the search yields helpul results! Feel free to post with more questions if you need!
