LAST MINUTE PROJECT :(

Post by shameyyy »

Hello, okay so im having a very difficult problem that has been stressing me for the past two months. I'm suppose to do a project on the effects of treating plants with greywater and what not. This project takes about a month or a few weeks. I was suppose to use the washing machine water that i have easy access to collect because the pipes are convient for my use, i can control the experiment of what kinds of detergents and what not. All of a sudden, right when i had my project approved my washing machine breaks. My parents say that they're going to get a new one but then again it took one month for it to come in, tomorrow im getting the washing machine. But ALSO, this week is when my report is DUE. yes, how unfortunate for me. I must admit that i have been procrastinating to get this done but i tried to find other options for me to have access to greywater but my parents won't allow me to use ANYONE elses greywater which is strange. Which concludes to my story that i cannot do that project :( i was really committed to finishing this. I have a strong passion for learning about the enviroment and doing good for it. BUT ANYWAYS! Like i said, the report is due this week, and im in DESPERATE NEED for a project that will do me good. Is there any projects that you would recommend for me? I want something thats quick but up to my level (9th grade). Please & thank you.

Hi,

These are worth a look, though be sure to check out availability of supplies:

Or

Or

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... g&from=TSW

Or this one that does not to seem to have major equipment acquisition issues

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... 4&from=TSW

And here is a safety net project in case you get REALLY desparate. It may be a little below your level, but you can always get creative:

I hope you work well under pressure and have an understanding teacher with easy access to supplies because you will be fighting deadlines from start to finish. Good luck and try to have fun in the process!

Best regards,
