Hi Grander3 - Is this the project you are doing? Do you have a specific question?

"How much water can be absorbed over various time intervals" is a question that can be answered with a science project! You may already be using this project from Science Buddies:

Is the Soup Ready? Measure How Much Water is Absorbed by Dried Beans

The experimental procedure in this project will help guide you through the process of conducting the experiment.

If you have specific questions as you work on your project, please post back here at Ask an Expert. Our Experts can't do your research and testing for you, but if you end up with a problem, we're here to help!
