Thinking in (Semi-)Circles: The Area of the Arbelos
I had trouble finding a good variable for this project, i thought that i could test if the area of the circle from point C to point D on different sized Arbelos. I wanted to prove that the area of the circle is the same area as the Arbelos. I didnt know how to change the sizes of the Arbelos. If you have any ideas for a different way of experimenting with Arbelos, or how to help me with how to change the sizes of them please contact me ASAP. Thanks

Hello, scienceman213!
Pretty nifty topic! In order to help you better, though, could you clarify what you mean by the area of the circle from pt. C to pt. D? It is a bit hard to follow without a diagram of some sort, so if you could attach that, great!
As for changing the sizes of the Arbelos, I'm assuming that you are requesting a computer program or a simulation of some sort. Luckily, there is something here: http://demonstrations.wolfram.com/Archi ... AnArbelos/ and here: http://demonstrations.wolfram.com/Tange ... ndArbelos/.
Hope that helped! Don't hesitate to write back if you have any more questions!
